Not Me Monday with a FREE GIVEAWAY!!!!!!

Yes folks, it's that time of the week again!! A time to come clean about your not so stellar mom moments! You know what I'm talking about. This is the time and this certainly is the place to let it all out! No holding back.

Feeling guilty about anything that you did as a mom this week? This is a great week to share those moments, because if you do, you will be entered into a contest to win a really great suprise! Details at the end!!!

I certainly did not feel guilty about sending the athlete off to school with nothing but a sweatshirt to keep warm. I also did not look out the window and see snow falling on the ground about an hour later. Nope not me!!
(On a side note here, I also did not keep replaying this day over in my mind for the last 5 days while a certain child was sick as a dog and wonder if that day had anything to do with his newly acquired symptoms. That would be foolish!)

I did not convince myself that giving my sweet child a slice of cheese and a few bites of yogurt was plenty to eat for breakfast and that she would be fine at school until snack time! I am a health conscious mom and would never let my daughter go to school with anything but a wholesome, nutritious breakfast, consisting of more than one food group. Not me!

When dealing with the sickness that seemed to linger here at home this past week, I never once got frustrated or pitied myself while nursing back to health two very sick children for days on end. Not once! I also did not snap at the coach when he came home from work on day 2 of said sickness when he asked me what was wrong. I did not glare at him and snap out, "I need 15 minutes to myself to at least take a shower!!" I would never take out my frustrations out on my husband or be a smidge bit jealous of the fact that he was not stuck home for the past 48 hours dealing with sick children. Nope not me!!

What not me moments did you have this week? And be honest! It is nice to see that us moms are not alone! Leave a comment in the comments section of THIS post to be entered into a giveaway to win this fabulous book...

  2. I most certainly did not encourage my husband to go out last weekend to make up for the fact that I will be gone three nights this week. Nope! I would never feel guilty about me time, and never put together a few pay-it-forward favors just in case he may tell me he has an issue with it. Nope! Not me!

  5. I am NOT letting my 3 year old and (almost) 1 year old watch TV all day today because I don't feel good! Nope, I would NEVER let them spend the day in front of the TV!

  6. I did not run over the BIG ORANGE CONES at my little girls daycare, and drag them a few feet while EVERYONE STARED! I would never try to pretend I was SHOCKED that they were even caught under my car. Everyone KNOWS I obey signs that clearly states DO NOT DRIVE PASS THESE CONES *in huge RED letters* I teach my child to follow rules, I would never be a rule breaker NOPE NOT ME!!

  7. Don't feel bad. In our hectic morning today, I realized at about 10am that I never even fed my youngest breakfast today! He was still sleeping when his sisters ate, and by the time he woke I needed to dress him and get everyone out the door and off to school. Poor boy.

Saw your post on BlogFrog today and wanted to stop by and leave a comment ... now you have 3!!!

Thanks for the chance to win ... sounds like a bood I would love : )

  8. I saw your post on BF and I wanted to suggest maybe doing a smaller blog hop. I have noticed with the large ones like Not Me Monday you don't get many responses. Your experience proves it.

I started blogging about 7 months ago and my blog has grown beyond what I ever expected by doing the smaller blog hops. It seems that these groups will all respond back to your blog and usually become followers of your blog.

I currently have 2 new ones I am a part of....SnapShot Saturday and I did It friday...check out my blog and try these out and I think you may be surprised at the response you will get....it is like 90%

I am now following your blog and good luck....
